Funding Biomedical Research into the
Preventions, Treatments, Causes and Cures
of Hearing Loss & Deafness

2013 RESEARCH AWARDS
In June 2013, The National Organization for Hearing Research Foundation will award grants of approximately $20,000 each, primarily in the form of Seed Money, for exploration into innovative biomedical research areas in the preventions, causes, treatments and cures of hearing loss and deafness. NOHR encourages proposals related to biological restoration of hearing.

Clinicians and researchers qualified in the field of auditory science may apply. Applications from researchers in other disciplines who will conduct research directly relevant to auditory science are also encouraged. Grant support is provided for one year. Applications are reviewed by the NOHR Foundationís Scientific Review Committee.

Friday, Apri1 12, 2013 is the due date for applications.

Applications may be submitted electronically as a PDF or Microsoft Word file to grants@nohrfoundation.org. Please compile and send all the materials in the order requested in Sections 2 & 3 of the application. Please retain a copy of your application for your files, in case there is a problem with your submission.

You will receive an acknowledgement for your application. If you do not hear from NOHR, please contact us at grants@nohrfoundation.org or peggyatnohr@att.net.
